Windows OS

• Windows 1.0 was released in 1985 then Windows 2.0  then Windows 3.0 and Windows 3.1 

• These had Ms-Dos, Calendar, Calculator, clock, and Terminal.

• Windows 95 was released in 1995 which included IE, Netscape Navigator, and NCSA Mosaic, and so on.

​

• Windows 98 was released in 1998 and then Windows 2000 was released in the year 2000 which was a big upgrade and had tons of new GUI features.

• Windows XP, Windows Vista was also released.

​

• Windows 7 was released in 2009, It was the best selling windows OS so far. 

​

• Windows 8 was made 2012, it was a massive gamble with touch features and this was a failed OS as the switch from 7 to 8 was very rough and different.  

​

• Windows 10 was released 2015, it has been so far one of the best OS. Things are simple and the user can adapt the same classic way of working like they do in Windows 7. The OS has an user-friendly settings configuration that works great with touch features.
